FULL TIME ADMINISTRATOR

Anam Cara is a national charity that supports bereaved parents across
the island of Ireland. We provide monthly support meetings in **Apply
on the website** locations across the country with the emphasis on
peer-to-peer support. We also facilitate additional online support
meetings, monthly bereavement information evenings with guest speakers
as well as family remembrance days and front line professional
training workshops.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic all-round full-time
administrator to join our team to assist with the running of our
services and our fundraising operations. You will be based onsite in
our office in Dublin *.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations
Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the service
team in the day to day running of the charity and assisting our
fundraising manager in running and managing fundraising events and
activities. The candidate will also assist in the daily administration
of the office.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

* Deal efficiently with all relevant telephone, postal and email
enquiries and ensure appropriate follow–on communication or action
is attended to in each instance in a timely manner, in particular,
deal with all enquiries relating to group activities and procedures,
as well as general enquiries as necessary.
* Assist in co-ordinating all face-to-face and online parent support
groups, liaising with professionals, inputting reports and sending
reminder emails to both professionals and parents.
* Support the service team in the organisation of the induction and
training of volunteer parents as well as the training and review
workshops and other training initiatives for our professional
facilitators and volunteer parents.
* Assist where necessary with administration and inputting data to
Salesforce database.
* Manage service-related suppliers to include processing invoices
and meeting documentation
* Participate in and/or assist with relevant Anam Cara Group events
as required to include Professional Seminars and workshops, Volunteer
Training Events, Family events and Anam Cara Training Workshops.
* Office administration to include filing, stationery orders,
processing post, maintaining the warehouse, dealing with supplier and
any additional office tasks that arise.
* Support the Fundraising Manager on events and campaigns when
viable.
* Additional duties as required and agreed with Operations Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

* 3 years’ experience in a similar role
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially Teams. Word,
Outlook and Excel
 

DESIRABLE

* Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce
* Knowledge and experience working with Zoom
* Knowledge and experience working with online fundraising platforms
such as Just Giving, GivenGain, iDonate
* Experience working with social media platforms

PLACE OF WORK: Onsite Dublin *

HOURS OF WORK: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (some evening and weekend
hours may be required)

CONTRACT TYPE: Full time 1 year fixed term

REPORTING TO: Operations Manager

SALARY: € *k – *k
depending on experience
